Doesn't include the highest ranking officers.

No Government officials hurt.

The immaculate, even miraculous, ability and timing of Erdogan managing to get himself on TV

How did a  couple of F-16's get involved on the 'rebel' side and buzz around over Istanbul? It's not like  apilot can just borrow one for a jaunt around the skies.

The amateurish nature of the coup planning

The immediate removal of so many judges the following day

The 'surrender' of so many unarmed 'plotters'

Not so sure about a set up conspiracy job,  but ya never know & I wouldn't at all surprised after travelling in Turkey on business for more years than enough.

They also seems to be ruffling a few feathers in USA as they have been warned against insinuations of US involvement.  (Turkey's labour minister suggested the US was behind the coup).    Not good for NATO relationships either.  Then with Turkey playing hard ball with Russia after shooting down the airplane during the Syrian Daesh (Rebel) offensive,  it seems Turkey is Billy No Mates - nothing new there then.

EU Membership anyone ???
