UQ2 with external DAC

Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my UQ2 source, and was wondering if it's possible to loop in an external DAC using the BNC output and the analogue input at the same time.

Can anyone advise if this is possible, i.e. when the analogue RCA input is selected on UQ2, does a digital signal still output to the BNC?

The DAC I'm looking at does not have a preamp/volume function, hence the question on this

No, you can't play out from the pre of the UQ and then loop back in to the the pre-amp from an external DAC. You would need another integrated or pre/power amp (or another UQ) to do this.
