What do you consider to be the keystone to your system?

Faced with the prospect of having to abandon all but one of your current components and build a new system, what would be the single unit you'd save for a foundation?

Your new hypothetical system might be all Naim or include other brands, can be less or more. Just that you can only carryover one item.

What is the indispensable heart and soul of what you now have?

This reminds me of the fact that my cat really hates symphonies. She (of course) runs already away when I put my chair in the optimal listening position.

Interesting.

One of my dog hates I mean HATES opera particularly soprano and tenor.

A minute I put one on, even when she is fast asleep, she wakes up and leaves the room. Yet, symphonies or even deep house full blast she does not mind.

Kuma, I agree with your dog.......

She even walked out on Caruso!

Given all these testimonies, I doubt if Naim Audio and the RSPCA have a good relationship.

Getting back to the original question, the pet's door might be the keystone in the system.

Yeah, best to have the pets innocuously vacate the music room than otherwise show their contempt.

My two dogs are pretty oblivious to any music played on my system. But my Blue Fronted Amazon parrot, Ozzie, absolutely adores harmonica blues i. e. Charlie Musselwhite, Junior Wells. Unfortunately, he always decides that old Charlie and Junior are in need of some serious parrot backing vocals. Even when in another room, you can really be aware of the power of a parrots vocal chords..........
