The Olympics are here – Brazilian Themed Music

Post your favourite Brazilian Themed Music.
Gratuitously risqué videos welcome.
Funky Brazilian theme: George Duke 'Brazilian Love Affair'.
Move over Diana Krall, Brazilian dynamo Tania Maria is my kind of singer/pianist.
Some laid back tune from Sergio Mendes & Brazil '77.
Marisa Monte: Another Brazilian singer who's voice I adore. Back in the 90s, I played her CD a lot. She sounds fabulous on vinyl.
John Klemmer's Brazilia. Bordering a bit cheezy easy listening jazz but happy.
Michael Frank's easy breezy 'Down in Brazil' from his Sleeping Gypsy. The last track of B side. Always thought it was a nice tune to end the album.
E,W&F's short and sweet 'Brazilian Rhyme'. Trying to source the Danny Krivit's re-edit 12" vinyl.
Doobie Brothers 'Rio' with Maria Muldaur appearing as a cameo singer.
Still nothing even remotely risqué
Makes me wish the Olympics were in neighboring Columbia so I could justify posting Shakira's "She Wolf" video and gratuitously heat things up here.

Bachianas Brasileiras, where Bach meets Brazil.

Close enough.
Astrud Gilberto & Stan Getz 1964
Antonio Carlos Jobim
Not very original but the ultimate Brazil song:
Soundtrack to the movie City of God, I particularly like Tim Maia.
Vinicius de Moraes - En la Fusa Con Maria Creuza Y Toquinho 1971 (2Cds)
recorded in an Argentinian club - but this is Brazilian gold
How about some Brasilian artists:
Paula Fernandes - classed as country in Brasil, but a bit more folky, and stunning to look at!
Mart' Nalia - excellent brasilian female singer. Try N-o Tempo Compeender - an brilliant album, consisting of many different styles of brasilian music, including of course Samba. Saw her live at a small intimate venue in Rio and she was supurb
if want something a lot move lively then Jorge e Matheus - they filled the Royal Albert Hall a couple of years ago and released an album of it. Not my cup of tea but my wife likes
Try some north Brasilian Forro music such as Elba Ramalho - wife been trying to teach me the dance steps for the last couple of years - requires intense concentration
Try Milton Nascimento and Jorge Aragao great artists for their types of music.
for anyone going to Rio who knows the place or knows someone local, keep away from the tourist Samba clubs in Lapa and go to the ones the locals use. Electric atmosphere and amazing music/dance. On the other hand if you don't know the place keep well on the beaten track, and remain alert 100% of the time which generally means you can avoid being mugged.
Jazz funk group: Azymuth
Here's a recent live version: Nice to see they are still active.
More cool laid back tune aptly called 'Brazil'.
