Riley Walker is.....

I saw Ryley earlier this year at the Bush Hall in London. Illness prevented Danny Thompson playing bass but there was the added bonus of Meg Baird as support.

Amazing guitarist following in the footsteps of (as you say) John and Bert with a touch of John Martyn and Michael Hedges.

I was there too, quite spellbinding at times, better still was a gig with his own group in Guildford "The Keep" last year small pub, like having him play in your house, second guitar, drums standup bass and keys, one of my gigs of the year, he gets more Tim Buckleyish with the group. I think he's doing something in London on this tour as well, incredibly hard working just look at the number of gigs he plays on his website, deserves to succeed on effort alone!
