Hi, I'm in the process of canceling my membership to this forum, and just wanted to thank everyone for their helpful advice and support. I've found comfort here. I became friends outside of the forum with people I met online here, and I'm thankful for that. I'll continue to visit from time to time to glean helpful information, but mostly I rely on my Naim dealer for most of my product information.
I just don't like the new forum much I suppose, and I find that topics I would like to pursue have more of a common interest on other forums where I participate, so everything changes and it's time to move on.
Special thanks to Frank Abela, Richard Dane and Adam Meredith, as well as forum members Chris M, Arun, Hook, Fixedwheel, BigH, Harry K, Shoot6x7, and many others too numerous to mention who have made participation on this forum so enjoyable and worthwhile.
Who knows, one day I'll get bored elsewhere and want to join in here again. For now, I just want to wish everyone the best, and happy listening!

Wow, I didn't know it was possible to cancel membership?
I thought the Naim forum worked like the Cosa Nostra; once in, you're in for life!
Anyways, might see you over at CA sometime.

Hi Dave -
I see your membership has now been canceled, but perhaps you'll still be able to log in as a guest and read our farewell comments.
Enjoyed reading your posts, and wish you had not decided to leave the forum, but I respect your decision and wish you all the best wherever you spend your time in the future.
I also hope that by telling us about your battle with OCD, it helped just a little bit. Somehow, over time, I sincerely hope it becomes much less of a burden for you.
But hey, feel free to change your mind, and reinvent yourself under a new alias....after all, everyone loves a good comeback story!
ATB.

More like
'and another one's gone, and another one's gone
another one bites the dust'
Thanks Hopeless (although to be fair it's Naim that pay the piper and so carry the can...)

The fact that many of us are still here is testament to our delight with Naim and their products and also, despite the odd squable, our tollerance of each other.
It has IMHO, very little to do with Hoopless - in fact, its despite Hoopless.
Cheers
Don
