BT Broadband "deal" for anyone interested

Posted by: pjl2 on 15 July 2011

I was on BT Broadband Option 1 until yesteday. This is around £15/month for 10GB access. During a telephone conversation with BT yesteday to discuss my bill they offered me a new deal. Sign up for 12 months and get unlimited access for only 70p a month more! This seemd too good to refuse so I jumped at it. It doesn't seem to be a well publicised thing so I just thought I'd let anyone here who may be interested know about it.....

PS. Hope this post isn't breaking any rules. It sound like advertising - but I have no connection with BT whatsoever other than I am a customer. Just thought it was useful info to help save people money.

I've been on unlimited for a while - it's excellent, and very necessary if you listen a lot  to internet radio or tv.  The new Homehub 3.0 might be worth a try too - £46 isn't much.

If you ring BT and say you want to leave them,They always come back with a better /cheaper deal than the one you are on,and they will through in the new hub and all day and evening calls  for free.

Also if you play it right you can do this withought signing upto any min contract.

They want your custom.

Is that the new homehub as advertised on the telly?

Is it an improvement over the old type one?

I have the old type homehub (over 5 years old) and it doesn't seem to be coping as well as it used to.

About time i renegotiated my bill will BT too, i think they may be charging me extra for being loyal.
