Damaging the royal car, high on booze & LSD probably deserves all he got.

But swinging on the cenotaph flag however is IMO so disrespectful as to be a national insult.

Dear all,

One wonders if he had been a real piece of British criminal trash and not the stepson of a multi millionaire rock god

That he would have got 2 hours community service and a stern warning from his social worker.

What he did was wrong and stupid but hey his step dad probably did drugs and rebelled against the govt of the day.

John Lennon did.

I feel the punishment was not proportionate to the crime based on what other less privileged people got as punishments for what they did on that day.

Still he was REAL DUMB and DISRESPECTFUL.

In his court photo he had scrubbed up had a decent haircut and looked like Harry Potters twin.

Seriously i wonder if the members of our Govt who used creative expenses will receive similar harsh treatment?????

Regards David

You clearly don't read your papers: all Parliamentarians prosecuted over fiddling of expenses have been jailed.

As for Gilmour's stepson, he got what was coming to him, and rightly so. If he'd swung from the flag at the Cenotaph in the 1920s, he might well have got life, or worse, for treason.
