Akiva is happier with a Prefix K.

Use your Prefix S on your Cadenza Blue.

well, i guess the superline is better then the prefix...

no?

The S is smoother and a little lacklustre compared to the K version. I found it a tad on the boring side since it appeared to strip much of the pace from the music. I think there is extra HF filtering applied to minimise the effect of ultrasonic cantilever resonance, but the effects can be heard in the audio bandwidth. Also, as undemanding on current draw as the Prefix is, I found it by far to be most sensitive  of all Naim front ends to its power supply quality-a Supercap on the Prefix makes a jaw dropping improvement over a Hicap, while on a CD5 or 82, the benefits of a SC is much lesser, but still very nice. If you haven't heard a Prefix with a SC, then you have not heard a Prefix at all!

Your Naim dealer will be able to advise on matching boards to cart, so you're not bored!

Superline is better than a Prefix.

Just have your Prefix loading value change to K loading for Akiva. I'd reckon NAUK should be able to assist.

If you have a Linn Radikal you could always try an Urika  - that would be a good match for the Akiva

Via the factory service dept. or a Naim approved service centre.
