So, they tried something, it didn't work very well, move on. Why the need to complain at all?
It's like having a pop at Helen Skelton for wearing a short dress. The fact she was surrounded by men and women in skimpy swimming gear was ignored by those that did, even though that should be immaterial. So much time and money is spent on pandering to the few complainers who for the most part would benefit from smiling a bit more often.
On the whole BBC coverage has been outstanding IMO, though there is rather a lot of it between BBC 1,2 and 4!
