What will be the next new Naim component ?

I think with the desire for less boxes and maintaining Hi end sonic qualities Naim will bring out the first Active speaker (in its range of present products) which will combine Naim electronics with Focal speakers.  Whether the Active system will contain a) Poweramps  b) Poweramps and preamps or C) Preamp, poweramps and DAC - I cannot predict.  The new system will be the first to marry Naim and Focal together?

A new state of the art headphone amp -with DAC/or without Dac like moon audio one - to go with new Focal cans!!!

Hoping for a Dac-v1 look-alike having streaming capabilities. Difference with the UQ must be the absence of the integrated Power Amp. Having no Integrated Power Amp means lower costs, better SQ. NDX is too expensive for me.

The component cost for the poweramp of the UQ is a matter of a few tens of pounds.  The marketing costs of a new product that's a UQ2 without a poweramp would be similar to the cost saving of removing the poweramp components.  If you're talking about re-laying the PCB and all the associated product development and testing, then the costs would considerably exceed the saving made by removing the poweramp.

Closest thing is a 172, only differences to your spec are the improved performance over the UQ, and the full width XS case.

I remember reading an interview with Paul Stephenson in which he hinted at a Statement-level source component. Be careful what you wish for...

That was about a year back. I wouldn't be all that sad to see a statement level streamer because although unaffordable to most of us, a trickle down ND500 may emerge.

To avoid all network issues it should include the music storage, avoiding any need for setting up a network and NAS and any issues streaming across a network, of course with enough storage capacity for anyone.

I.e  Melco N1Z with 4x the storage capacity + Dave in a custom column cabinet.

... extremely good idea! This would tripple Naims business, but unfortunately it seems to be against the nature of the company.

Naim Raspberry Pi case.

Half of the reason I like naim are the black boxes which survive my kids greedy fingers.
