High Resolution Audio from YouTube Videos Possible?

I have has an interesting find,
Playing music in from you tube hi res channels into my NDS then 552 and so on...
I have a smart enabled LG tv and am using an optical out to go into the NDS.

Anyone else or thoughts?

From what I can gather there is no HD audio, or even standard definition CD quality lossless audio on YouTube. Irrespective of video quality/definition as of last year where I found a summary of someone who did a test, YouTube now limits audio to either 128kbps AAC or 155 to 165 Kbps Opus . These are lossy codecs and very compressed bit rates but clearly seen as adequate for the purposes intended.. to provide audio background for free videos..and very successful it is to.
