Very interesting Tony, thanks. Saw him play with a trio at the Blue Note a number of years ago in New York. I actually went to see Kenny Burrell play, and Ron Carter was on the same bill. It was only then that I realised quite how many people he had played with and how many times he appeared on records that I already owned. He certainly got about.
