The Divine Comedy - Foreverland

Another stunner from Neil Hannon, I think. Released today. Found it in 24 bit on Qobuz. Only drawback is Qobuz download procedure, which to me is bizarre. 7 Digital also has the album, but only 16 bit. I don't know why they wouldn't offer 24 bit too - surely it doesn't cost them to offer it?

I bought the CD de luxe version with an extra cd which I haven't listened to yet. CD 1 is a superb cd  -  good songs with clever instrumentation - including well recorded strings - much better than his last Divine Comedy release and more like the classic and Absent Friends. I listen to a cd before deciding to rip it and this one was a "ripper" after 4 songs. Highly recommended.

It's interesting that you only rip one if you like it. What do you do if you don't like it?

Did you buy the CD in a shop? I think it was only released today. I listened to samples on 7 Digital, and was teetering on buying from there before I found the higher def. version on Qobuz.
