N-Sub vs Linn AV5150

Any experience / comments from you gents and ladies greatly appreciated. Finding an N-sub in the USA is a pipe dream while Linn subs come up from time to time. Were these subs similar in performance in their day? Would be used as 2 channel/n-Sat set up.
Experience with other brands, REL for example, also appreciated. Thanks in advance!
