Just returned from IOM myself on Tuesday from visiting family and watching the MGP (wangled a ride in the roads open car on the Monday). Not due to visit again until nearer Christmas but sounds as if it may be worth making an extra visit to see this.

Got back Wednesday After 3 weeks camping near St Johns,it is a very good exhibition but I'm not sure I would make a special trip(at steam packet rates)to see it but if you have family over there thats different.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I have no excuse for not going as I live on the IOM.

His pictures are all the more stunning because of the scale of them - they are painted far larger than the LP sleeves some adorned. He is an inimitable artist, and the said exhibition is only the 7th he's done in 45 years or so. Entry is free, so just the travel cost and time.

I just looked up the stuff he does. It is exactly what I thought it was. I'm not a fan at all. Some talent there, to be sure, but absolutely not to my taste..

Not a fan of 'progressive' rock then, Winky?
