After a long wait of nearly 3 month I finally received my NAC552 and NAP300.DR , eager to set it up and see what a difference it will make over my existing NAC282/NAP250.DR setup...
Now, I noticed that the NAC552 PSU comes with the DR logo on the back, however the NAP300 PSU does not have the DR logo (the NAP 300 itself does, but the PSU unit does not mention DR either on the packaging or on the back of the unit). the PSU is newly manufactured in 2016 so my guess is it should be with the latest electronics... Not sure if I have something missing or not.
Is there any such thing as a NAP300 PSU.DR ?

That is a relief! for a while I thought I may have ended up with some outdated inventory :-)
Yes, you read correct, I am not sure which DAC to upgrade to, tested the Mojo but to be honest didn't find any difference to the DAC-V1... The Naim DAC does not have the USB interface which I am looking for and since where I live my choices of testing are super-limited it is hard to decided on a path...
The DAC-V1 is doing a pretty good job by the way, little impressive box....

True, the improvement in sound quality I got with the latest bump to 552 will hopefully keep me grinning for a long time and by then I would have found a good match for an upgrade of the DAC-V1 or maybe Naim surprises us with a new modern DAC.... Would love to get the TotalDAC but that will have to wait until my bank account recovers ;-)
