the venue is really good, small and intimate with good sound, looking forward to seeing Steve Howe

Sadly, the event was poorly attended.  The hall must hold about 200 and it was less than half full.  Steve was on good form and played some new tunes and a selection of his back catalogue.  The sound was pretty good although there was a problem with some of his bass notes exciting a resonance in one of the speakers.  The 'encore' was a vigorous version of The Clap.  Inevitable I suppose, but none the worse for that.  I would be interested in what Paul thought.  Steve is no Jon Anderson and should definitely leave the vocals to someone else!  Overall, fabulous guitar playing throughout in a very sympathetic venue with good acoustics.  Thoroughly enjoyable.  Two hours well spent.

Yes pretty much agree with all the above, although I almost never regret going to see a live performance.
