Any bets ???  New streamer/pre-amp,    new all in one +++

I think they all looke nice. The Core and some Powerline Lights  could even end up at my place. And: as I was the only one to suggest a new user interface (=app) I will get one (a Core, not the app itself) for free, right?

No power supply upgrade options - that makes a nice change

I sometimes think some people would rather see Naim go bust, then they can drone on about what a wonderful company they used to be. Naim have done a brilliant job here that will ensure their continued growth and survival for many years. Surely that's what we all want?

I see the usual trolls have come crawling out of their holes on Facebook too. Sad little people.

That's a bit disappointing really looks like Naim are going fully mainstream with this new Uniti Line and becoming a 'Designer' Brand which from a business view point is understanable and necessary even but even so after all that what about using some of the money generated to fund the design a new analogue first pre amp, a phono pre amp a new Aro even. It seems that these last few new ranges from Naim are aimed at the uber cool city dwelling young professionals to show off at Dinner parties or over drink's, is the ethos still music first or are compromises being made for the sake of style.  Perhaps at 46 I am already as my trouble and strife would say going all Victor Meldrew, perhaps those of us who sometimes prefer to listen to the music we love so much alone and with our eyes closed drink in hand and with a smile on are faces are in the very small minority, perhaps Naim Audio could throw that small minority, their existing very faithful customers a tit bit..............Hold on a minute on the other hand this all could mean cheaper used SuperUnities, Unity 2's and 272's coming onto the market. Now where did I put that dealers number?

People want high quality music playback but without the need to have loads of boxes - nothing wrong with that.

You are damn right! Used to be.

They look lovely  , indeed.

4 neat solutions ,Uniti line has never been so redundant in products.

Actually they steer away from the classic lines , which started with Mu-so,  but I'd say the core brick will find its place neatly in any system , white logo  aside reminds me of a cute mini CD555 top unit. Anyway older model has never been so poor value now with the new at  £1600!!

And those powerline lite... who knows will just be about the same ordinary cables with the mod or a complete overhaul , worth knowing more as could be useful to give a boost to Napsc ,entry level ,xs ..

I think they look good. I can't understand the naysayers - none of us have heard them, so all we know is the spec, which is surely better than the old range, isn't it? If we trust Naim to have got the sound right, then this is progress. (And it will be easy to compare the new Uniti with the old, so we'll know soon enough).

It's also an indication of how the rest of the range will go. I'm guessing the streamers and preamp-streamers will be next in line for this technology, and then the rest of the range will be more cosmetic. I guess anyone thinking of a 272 might get it cheaper quite soon, or might want to wait for the update.

Tonym, well put, companies must progress to ensure they survive by
investing for the future and bringing out products like the new range.

These will sell by the shedfull and this will ensure Naim remain profitable
and can keep investing for the future.

To avoid, two similar threads running in parallel, I'm going to close this thread now.  The excitement continues over here:
