Any bets ??? New streamer/pre-amp, new all in one +++
Yes, I agree with those who think it's the end of the traditional "black box" style. I wouldn't be surprised if the classic range was re-introduced overnight with a different fascia.
Different Classic facia, shame if it goes that way !!!!
Probably means I will stick with what I've got, I don't intend to go back to odds & sods again.

It just means that the current classics will become real classics!
Yup after re-examining I take my comment about no toroid back. It clearly has a large toroid and a power inlet. As well as what appears to be Burndies (but hard to tell with the scale. It could be bigger than we think and those could be regular DIN).
However the toroid section seems massive for a streamer. Could also be a replacement for Super Uniti. Merging Uniti with Muso may make more sense as a stepping stone. And with that, I will just sit back in silence and wait until the end of the week.
A new enhanced Muso box capable of upgrading using Power Line and accepting DIN connection from the black box...? ermm just wait and see..

Just been told Naim are replacing our old style Classics with brand new models - free of charge, and with a case of champagne (one per unit).
New integrated amp with streaming capabilities :-) maybe a 555 class thing?
I'm betting on a Statement level streamer with maybe some extra features.

Please god - NO!

It looks like a replacement of superuniti to me with statement/Muso volume control. Among what I can see from the video:
- 4 x banana terminal
- Some DIN, RCAs and BNC connections
- Large toroid
Wonder if it will be at RMAF?
The long delay in releasing a streamer firmware update has, for some time, been suggesting to me that they've been holding back while it's integrated into some new products. My guess is that this is that product, maybe a Statement level streamer?
Ok, Richard, without giving anything away, has anyone nailed it yet?
I don't believe it's a Muso-type product. The large control knob on Statement & Muso's a lovely thing so it makes sense to use it on an integrated or preamp design.

Well done Adam, that's what I was thinking of. It looked like crap then and it looks no better today. From the teaser pictures the new Naim thing has alarming similarities.
The thing with the knob on the top, of course, is that you can't put it in a rack, with say a turntable on top. If it was a Statement source it could perhaps sit on the Statement, with the volume control taking over from that on the preamp. That would avoid the need to have it sitting elsewhere, with connecting wires all over the place. Anyway, if I was the designer, that's what I'd do.
Sorry IB, I couldnt say. I'm still hopeful for the Aro2 and that the film on YouTube is just a ruse to put us off the scent..
As I don't do vinyl,don't stream,and would like to stick to CD me think/hope it's a 555.2

It's basically a Muso QB (without the speakers) paired with an integrated amp, isn't it? More inputs; use your own speakers.

And I am waiting for the Super Superline2 ![]()
Because it's not got integrated speakers it wouldn't make sense to call it a Muso anything.
Sorry, is the WhatHiFi picture still available - where would I find it, please?
S.
I don't think it's part of the Muso line. It appears to have a Muso/Statement volume control.
Whatever it is, it looks likely to be a warm up for a revised Classic line.

Stefan, any photos out there are very likely unauthorised and unrepresentative. Certainly Naim wouldn't want them posted here, I feel.
So we've DR'd our amps and now there could be a new facia..... nice game plan!

Yes please, I can't find it anywhere
