Any bets ??? New streamer/pre-amp, new all in one +++
Hopefully it's a Statement Streamer so the market will suddenly have a lot of used NDS's for sale and I can upgrade without having to sell the family silver!

If I were looking to reimagine my music collection I'd be spending on music, not gear.
"Offers infinite possibilities" ? C'mon Naim

We had a head of business improvement at work once, whose nickname was the 'Director of Talking Bollocks'. Maybe they have gone to work in Salisbury.
Dropping this into the Forum has certainly woken everyone up, which has got to be good. As there are allegedly four items, there is scope for lots of people to be right. A 372 has got to be highly likely, some sort of Statement streamer, and possibly a new Superuniti in a mu-so style, which may be what the unit in the picture is. And then there's the fourth item, which could be anything. That's my guess anyway. Regarding a new style, it would be very odd to change the amplifiers only a year after the DR upgrade. It would have made far more sense to coordinate it, and do it last year.
Hi
I have the impression (not more or less than that) that Devialet is taking marketshare from Naim. I would not be surprised if this is a Naim reaction to that.
As a teaser campaign, it certainly seems to be teasing you lot! lolol
It's an Ultrauniti, with large internal SSD, upgradable with external PS, the final solution.
oh, and the video is fascinating -- i wonder if that is from the CAD files? Its beautifully done, however it was made.
oh, and the meridian modular amp thing was damn clever. A great piece of industrial design, and very clever thinking about how to build up an amp to your needs. OK I wasnt a fan of their "furry grey" finish, but you cannot knock the thought that went into it.
My guess is that, whatever it is, it will include room correction.
My guess from the pics is something like the Musical Fidelity-Encore. Very exciting this.. ![]()

You know something, don't you?

Yes, he knows something. Quick lets get him ![]()
Lets queue up in Salisbury.

Wireframe outlines of something or other drawing themselves in white across a black screen to create ghost images of a box that's kind of Naim-shaped, along with some conceptual details, also in wireframe. And that's about it.
Nice so we did not miss anything!

Your music collection reimagined? Can that be done in hardware? The suggestions here is "just" more of what we know, not necessarily bad, but is that reimagined? Let us see hwhat happens when the imagination of the film makers clashes with reality in 2 days.

I am, some might guess, not a fan of using the phrase 'too clever by half' pejoratively, but the Component Amplifier bravely and ingeniously showed the world was not yet ready for at least one solution to the 'it's got too many/too few/the wrong inputs' problem.
I read the original (Practical HiFi & Audio?) article on the design and thought "This is it".
'It' turned out to be a poorly made (the plastic front flaps wouldn't stay closed), partially implemented (I don't think we ever saw a TAPE input module), hydrozoa of a product. It quickly wouldn't fit on a Sound Org table (or standard shelf), then requiring a, never produced, U-turn module - otherwise resembling a mute accordion.
In addition - it sounded less good than a Creek 4040 and we couldn't give it away. Neither could Meridian.
The Case of the Less Better Mousetrap.

It's obviously a Hugo hidden inside a box of other stuff to disguise it.
Or perhaps it's a new streamer which reimagines all your Hires audio files into mp3s. ![]()

That is scarily close to my job title! The former that is, although I wouldn't be surprised if the latter was used too
Now, if it could reimagine prog rubbish into decent music like The Smiths, Naim could be onto a winner.
Then the tagline would renightmaring your music. Can't see that one selling Nigel.

Coincidentally, early this morning I was listening to the Pono and NAIT and realised that the SDXC card I had inserted in the Pono was the wrong one - I had only added music from two bands to the card I had picked up, one being The Smiths, and the other being Genesis. So, I had Hatful of Hollow followed by Selling England by The Pound. Worked just fine for me...

Frank F posted:Jon Honeyball is correct, it is another Naim teaser but they should bear in mind that this type of marketing can backfire.
I was planning to order a 250 DR today. It's unlikely; based on what's rumoured, Thursday's announcement will change that, but I'll be holding off until Thursday.
A cassette deck.
Hello,
In my opinion I think the new naim product should replace unitiserv, hdx...
