50 or 75 Ohm

Posted by: cat345 on 05 October 2016

I want to remove the BNC adaptors connected to the phono inputs of my NAC102 and replace them with BNC connectors. Do I need the 50 Ohm or the 75 Ohm type of connector?

Thanks!

50 Ohm.

What is the tonearm lead? These can be a bugger to fit.

If your dealer can do a decent job fitting them then get them to do it...

It is the original lead from the Aphason HR-100s tonearm and it has rca connectors.

That is a fine tonearm, Cat. A friend of mine has the original Sonata/Atlas/HR-100 setup and very much enjoys it.

Thanks! I have used it for years with my Nait2 which has rca phono inputs but now I'd like to try it with the 102.

Thanks Adam and Richard. My tonearm is just back from the dealer who fitted 50 Ohm terminals and it was worth the hassle!
