This is a very well deserved award. There must be some old "hippies" on the Nobel Prize Committee .

This may be more contentious than "going electric" lovely to see the man dividing opinions as he always has done......Joni Mitchell won't be happy!

Quite the opposite from what I've seen. Stiff straight types.

Deserved recognition.

Joni doesn't care. She considers her art more important than her music. Joan Baez, on the other hand........

Listening to "The Cutting Edge" , Bootleg vol. 12 right now. Reinforces the decision of the Nobel committee completely. Have seen loose talk about Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon in the press, and they are favourites of mine, but BD is in another dimension. "Freewheelin" was the first ever LP I bought, in 1965, at the age of 12. It still gives me goosebumps when I listen particularly to 'Bob Dylan's Dream' and ' A hard rain'.

Such a pity that the live concerts I've been to have been ear-blasting crap. At least we have Naim to bring us the real thing!

Yeah I put on Blonde on Blonde to celebrate, and that last side Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands, WOW!

You really have to listen closely to his words and the twists and turns.
