Tidal Playlists, where are they all?

Posted by: Gingerbeard on 13 October 2016

Perhaps it's just me, but compared with Spotify there seems a distinct lack of Tidal playlists posted on here, other forums and the web in general. I am just wondering why people seem reluctant to share? I find them a great way of discovering new music. I have tried most of the ones of interest on Tidal and these have proved a descent resource. However, I do wish there wasn't such an influence on hip-hop/rap, but guess that's Jay Z using it as a platform to push his fellow artists.

I am more of a folk, indie and acoustic / solo musician fan, although I am open and enjoy most types of music.

Anyway, here is one of my playlists of tracks that I have recently discovered for your enjoyment or not as the case may be!!! Go on be brave and lets see what you got!

I agree about the lack of playlists and the concentration on a few particular styles of music. If you use spotify you can easily convert spotify playlists into Tidal. Just do a quick google search to find how.

Thanks Reburner, I'll do a bit Googling and give that a whirl

If it helps, search for Soundiiz, that's the playlist converter, works a treat!

Thanks Gingerbread, I'll give yours a try once I've worked out how to add it to my Tidal playlists (doesn't open up using Android on my phone, will have to try on my PC later).

*edit: got it into my Tidal playlists now, I was just being a bit dim!*

I'll see if I can put a compact playlist together for sharing over the next few days.
