Will a flat cap 2 help a 112x pre and a 150x power amplifier..Would it be a worthwile upgrade or is it a sideways or negative move...Would it help the power amp as it would not need to supply power and give it extra OOmph..?? Both units have been recently serviced and are wired 4 meters nac a5..each side ...Naim DAC into my computer is the source...

All comments welcomed..

A Flatcap2 is a very worthwhile upgrade here.  It improves the performance from the pre-amp and also unburdens the role from the power amp.  Just try with and without and the advantage with the Flatcap should be clear.

The Flatcap 2x totally transformed my 122x/150x... It is an easy recommendation

+1.  Obvious choice if keeping this pre/power.

The flatcar is a very worthwhile upgrade to a NAC 112 of NAC 152. It provides way better staging and more weight to the music. My experience is also that the level of detailed won significantly. Watch the various connection options (there are more than 1 possibilities)

The Flatcap upgrade usually provides a more relaxed and transparent presentation. It adds more details as well.

A flatcap made a noticeable difference to my 112x/150x system. You really notice the difference after you've used it for a while, then remove it.

If you move on, it can still be used to power a stageline (if you were ever to play vinyl?), or a CD player such as a CD5x so can still be useful. A good value for money upgrade in my opinion.
