New naim system: how to start

Posted by: cuciu76 on 02 November 2016

hi, i want to enter into the naim world, in this moment i have an a/v system based on nadT175 and arcam p1000. I can't meet the expense in one time (amp, power, source, naca5) so i'd like to know how to start. Better the source (in my case ndac) and then the amp or the amp, etc...

the source for me mean liquid music (audirvana, sonos)....i thought to buy gustard u12 with the ndac, what do u think?

tks in advance!!

I can say that my DAC V1 is excellent and great VFM.

You might start with a NAP 100 to fit within your budget but the DAC V1 is certainly capable of holding its own way further up the Naim chain allowing you headroom for upgrading the amp section in the future.

My DAC V1 is feeding a 202/250DR and is not far behind my LP12 for source SQ.

If it fits into your AV requirements, I can heartily recommend this as a versatile performer.
