Hi forum.
Would a upgrade from a Hicap2 to a DR spec version ,make much of a improvement to a Nac 202, Nap 200 with Napsc arrangement.
The speakers are SBL'S with a cd5 as a source & a flatcap 2 with dedicated mains provided .
Any other ideas to improve this system welcomed,

Those SBLs were designed to go behind a top draw source and amplification. I would improve source first (NDS, LP12 or CDS3) then improve the amps at a later date. The source first view is much diluted these days but has always worked for me.

Hi Stuart.
I do have a LP12 , the build comprising of a Linn Basik plus tonearm ,Valhalla psu ,and Adikt cartridge.
The Sbl's sound great on vinyl, bringing the speakers on full song compared to the cd5, that is still very good but different as to be expected.
