Ever so 'umble

If I read one more reference to "my humble non DR'd NAP500", or "my humble NAC282", or indeed "my humble anything" the iPad's going out of the window!

Apologist or misplaced soh, it matters not. No matter what our upgrade aspirations might be, let's all be proud of what we are fortunate enough to own and stop bloody well apologising for it.

Yours humbly

Your diligence is duly noted, Naim make far too many products at 20/6d and more.

Couldn't agree more, but the use of 'humble' to describe possession of a £20k amp smacks more of false modesty than the real thing (at least it does to me; I keep being told off for not using 'imho'!!). Just leave off the humble and no one would think twice about reference to the kit. Next thing you know someone will describe their Statement as 'humble'. Hey Ho, just can't win.

Well if you're doing it outdoors and it's really really cold, but they give you an injunction when you do that, er so I'm told
