Naim and Foobar

Posted by: JSH on 14 December 2016

Hi

I rather like Foobar as my upnp server(?).  It's quick and easy.  However with the Naim  ( Android) app I can't get it to display artwork, like Asset does.  I've trawled the Foobar site and though there are hundreds of add-os I cant find one which does this

Does anyone know how to do this?

Many thanks

Looks like Foobar_upnp is FooBar'ed.

How are you keeping the Album Art, as a separate JPEG, or embedded in the tracks?  Try doing both

Have you tried using different file formats (FLAC, WAVE, ALAC, AIFF etc)?

Thanks.  I've tried saving as both separate jpegs and as embedded in the metadata.  No difference and no difference between WAV, FLAC and MP3 either

Does Foobar have a setting to rescan your music library?

Thanks.  It does but re-scanning hasn't made the artwork appear so far
