Anyone having problems with 7digital purchases at the moment?

I use Qobuz mostly for downloads but occasionally also 7Digital. Almost  3 weeks ago I pre-ordered an album 2 days prior to release and since then have not been able to download it. The purchase was confirmed but I did not get an email on the release date with a link (as normally happens) and the album does not appear in my online collection to listen/download.

More troublingly I've now tried three times to contact them, including raising a PayPal complaint with no response apart from confirmation that my email has been received. I did once have a download error with one of their purchases and then they responded to a message within hours and sorted it.

The website looks unchanged but I did just wonder if the company had fallen over (I'm aware Qobuz nearly did last year too).

Well they obviously read the Forum over at 7digital!

This am received an apologetic email and an offer of two free album downloads in compensation. Nice result, although it seemed to take the PayPal complaint to trigger a reply.

They will stay on my list of options as they can be quite cheap for High Res sometimes.
