Core production release

Now available from dealers in Australia and New Zealand

But not in uk. Intriguing. 

I wonder if its to do with the January price increases? Is the core price increasing in January? If it is then this could be the reason behind the delay. Why release now and possibly have a glut of sales at a reduced price when you can delay a week or so and make more revenue.

No I don't think it's that. If you place an order before 1 Jan then Naim will give you this year's price whenever it is delivered. And my dealer has substantial orders already (when I ordered mine 2 weeks ago, I was sixth in line.

i think it's simply that they want to get a few more bugs out of the new version of the Naim app, which you have to use with the Core, so that it is a smooth high quality experience. Presumably it was too late to stop the units going to far flung places but not too late to delay the UK deliveries.

Thanks pcd. Deleted post as I found it on a dealers site in the end.

I see on the Naim website if you go into Accessories it states the the Android App will not be available till early 2017 (this is new) wonder if this will coincide with the public release date of the Core ?
