Last week Vivid Audio Giya4 ,this week Kudos Titans ,next week B&W 800D3. Life could not come better than this. Difficult part will come the week after when it's decision time. For now I'm just enjoying the lovely music.

The 0roblem in reaching a decision is establishing a benchmark. But it's all good fun.
It will be interesting to hear your conclusions after your home auditions, with your set up I expect all the contenders sound very very good...

Eerr probably won't happen, have to stop somewhere otherwise will go on and on and on. Quite happy with the three on my list.

Maye be the decision will be not to change? Been there.
I find speakers to be inconvenient and difficult to change, not to mention time consuming. But when something clicks it can be a magical event.
All the best with it.
Just placed an order for a pair of speakers.Excited but no rush so that they can build them properly .In the meantime waiting impatiently for that call from the dealer to say they are here and ready for installation.

ayap1-If you don't mind, could you share what sold you on the Titans? I am assuming you are referring to the 808's, correct?

Patience is a virtue. Was there an option for a rushed order with improper build?
There is with some firms, I had a turntable in for an upgrade to the suspension and an updated platter. Thought 6 weeks was enough and pressed for completion. The adjusters would just screw in and out of both the plinth and sprung feet adjusting nothing until I applied a bit of Loctite to the threads in the feet. The platter had been bored too large and the gap taken up with tape on the spindle. Its why I'll never listen to an Allegri.

Yes 808.We chose the Titans because of their well balanced sound. My wife summed it up as 'lite and airy ' feminine kind of sound whereas the 800 D3 sounded masculine,if that make any sense.Feminine doesn't mean lack of bottom end,far from it but the 800 could really dig low down.Could live with any one of the audition speakers but Titans won the day

You are in SO much trouble if your wife ever reads this forum!!!
Titans 808 arrived and installed over the weekend.Try to play as much music as possible,so far managed about 7 hours of running- in and musically it's sounding a lot better than the speakers it replaced .Did not notice the sharp top end as some experience on another thread when their speakers were new, maybe it's my listening .If memory serves me right it's not sounding as good as the demoed pair yet.Going to play more music, there's plenty of of running-in to go but very happy with the speakers.

Congratulations! Great set of speakers- run in will definitely open them up a bit more. May I ask, what swayed you over the B&W "s you had on audition?

Er, I think he said the following:
