System Pics 2017

Welcome to System Pics 2017. To get us started here is a picture of my setup: other than longer legs on the rack and some new wires, it's just the same as last year.

For a second I thought you'd bought a Devialet until I noticed it was the cooker hood.

This is the audio corner of my "shed" - my home office is pretty crammed with 2 PCs each with monitor and printer on one side as well as loads of bookshelves. Space for audio limited so the UQ2 driving the Iotas is an ideal solution, and then I added in the Rega RP1 later. The NAS is closer to my main system in the lounge which I will try to add a picture of later.
The latest arrival...

Having fun in the kitchen...
Bentley version indeed. All fur coat and no knickers.
Ah, the Bentley Edition. Richard's always one notch more dressy than everyone else at the party ![]()
That's a classy looking knob. Looks rather discrete with the silver front too.

Indeed...
It's actually now packed away back in its box as it's spending the day up in Crewe tomorrow. It will be coming back home with me though...

Richard, are you sure it will fit in the boot of a new Bentley ??
It will fit fine but no such luck with a new Bentley for the return trip this time I'm afraid PCD.

James, you possibly need to clarify exactly what you are referring to. ![]()

Wow. A dynamic upgrade system. You can drink from the rack until the system sounds just right.
Linn's over-the-air upgrades can't even compete with that level of real-time adjustment.
The wine fridge is the killer component as I find that integrating a chilled glass of fizz or maybe a fino after work on a sunny summer day makes the music so much better. We sit outside with the door open - the UQ2 is possibly the best quality outdoor sound we can manage.

Very nice. How do the Neats perform with that level of electronics? They look like the sx2 versions.
Thank you , SX2 work very well with current set up .
Used to own Kudos S10 and although they were detailed , i like the musicality and boogie factor from the Neats .

How do you find the high frequencies with the new tweeters?

Hi Stuart , new tweeters are great , its a great all around speaker plus they work well in my room .
My new Rega planar 3 with Elys2 but without PSU. Excellent SQ and good looks.
