System Pics 2017

Welcome to System Pics 2017. To get us started here is a picture of my setup: other than longer legs on the rack and some new wires, it's just the same as last year.

SC posted:P.S. Are you going to Alastair's house warming event..? I'm currently in the UK and was potentially thinking to attend, check out the Core etc, but not 100% I can make it yet.....Besides, the Core isn't ready for sale yet. Could always go to get my deposit back in cash though....!
Hi Steve, yes, I'm going to this of course! My email's in my profile, perhaps we can sort out a get-together.

I observe that things unrelated to audio listening distract from the purpose of this thread and i look at this thread to look at music systems and get ideas and not for anything else.
I too did not like "smart" comments that are made and some of them could have been avoided too.
My response was only proportional - i believe.
Just as many folks disagree with my comments / observations.... i am sure many agree as well.
Weather they choose to express it or not is another thing.
Its time to let go.. and carry on..
We are all human beings and in that context i offer my apologies to all those who may have felt hurt about my comments on pets on this thread.
Good luck and have a nice week !
best regards

Ok, thanks, hands shaken, let's move on. Here's a pic of my latest addendum: a Japanese, porcelain, hand painted clamp holder!

But socks offend me greatly Richard!
...not half a much as hairy feet and mangled toes do me!

I'm sure you'll be alright about this picture then Phil.

It's a beautiful room and it sounds absolutely fantastic in there following Varyat's recent room treatments. Primarily, the ceiling IMHO and yes it is BTW

Lovely looking room and clever use of Fraim to fit space.
I like the design on the rug.

New Rack from Creaktiv. Naim Nait 5i/CD5i/Auralic Aries Mini with SBooster LPSU

Looks nice, kind of like a cross between a Fraim and a Hutter to my eyes.
How are you finding it?

What a brilliant picture. I love the huge bowl full of fags - obviously there was some serious puffing going on chez Frank.

NDX - tell me more about your Gibson not-dog in the photo please (Yes I know there is a thread for guitars, but I cannot ask about this one there...I promise there will be no follow up question. Maybe.)

Spectacular! Sorry for the new-to-Naim question, but why would you need 3 NAP 500s (assuming that's what I'm seeing on the second to bottom shelves of all three Fraims) for one pair of Speakers? Maybe "need" isn't the right word, but still... Also, what is that unit on the top right stack of Fraim?
With active DBLs you need three power amplifiers. The box is a Chord DAC.

great room
Thanks Meni! The socks were in order when doing final testing of the Tranquility additions to my decks- fantastic product
. Thanks to Peter for posting the pics- I'm hopeless when it comes to this...As always, Peter rechecked both my decks and after a few tweaks , left them sounding awesome. Great service and we put a few miles on his Fitbit as well

Hi Allante, in this picture, taken from one end of the room, you can see a red settee with a small table to the side. that's where I sit!

With 3 x NAP 500s, I'd imagine Swansea.
A new King Kong Picture maybe?
One more level to give the LP12 its own fraim
