Island Life - Grace Jones

Not a fan of grace Jones, but that said any music is going to sound impressive on your superb set up..

If memory serves it was well produced. Always a good thing if you like the like the material. I must look up my copy. It must be years since I listened. 

Just put it on for a spin due to your thread topic. Some of it could be Donna Summer does more disco. The rest is pretty good though.

not a perfect album, but the good bits are very good.

You should try the remaster of Nightclubbing, with the extra album of 12" mixes and b sides. It's quite wonderful, and as ever Sly and Robbie are superb. 

Love this album and will give it another spin (vinyl) this evening. And agreed, the production is good.

Agreed! I have the blu-ray audio and it sounds fantastic

playing a vinyl copy right now, actually... it looks to be an original promo, and has a "direct metal mastered" sticker on the front. 

i'm going to track down a copy of "Nightclubbing" at some point. great record.
