This is becoming truly depressing, another talented artist gone. Not my kind of music but I always recognised his ability. RIP George

Can't quite believe it.After Rick parfitt's death I thought it impossible to hear any more bad news come out of the entertainment industry this year.
This must be the worst year on record for losses to the industry.

The Great Gig In The Sky has just aquired a hugely tallented singer. What a loss for us mortals...
Just been playing Symphonica LP too ! Wonderful artist... will be missed by many, me included.

An hour so Jay and I were looking at a list of famous people who have passed away over the last 18 months, which was unreal, and wondering if we should be concerned by the Queen's absence through illness and then an hour later we see this news. One of my wife's favourite artists and the music we listened to as we courted. Only 53 years of age, really sad.
George went to the same school as me. Great voice. RIP.

Reports say he died peacefully at home, although extremely talented, he always seemed a very troubled soul.

RIP George Michael. He created the chart soundtrack to my childhood. Utterly tragic loss at such a young age. I still think Listen Without Prejudice Vol1 is a cracking album and his video to the single 'Outside' a very witty response to events in his personal life.
2016 strikes again. Sigh.
Very sad. A great talent and a superb singer. I'm with you on Listen Without Prejudice, an excellent album, playing as I type this. It's a shame George never got round to a Vol2. RIP.

Its been an absolute shocking year in many ways and I for one will be glad to see it end.
A fantastic singer and song writer! Couldn't put any of his music on last night when I heard the news.

It's the most absurd year for music, and let's not forget that not only media heroes and pop and rock stars are musicians... We have also lost the complete Choir of the Red Army, and the cellist Heinrich Schiff. And we still have 6 days.
Truly sad news. I'm still wondering if I will wake up and it was all a crazy dream!
As many have said, what a beautiful voice and a very talented song writer.
I hope George is at peace.
Today I shall be mainly playing his material. Starting with Listen without Prejudice
