This is such a comfort. In a country where people are sleeping on the streets, High Streets are now full of charity shops and pawn brokers, the NHS is pretty much down the crapper and in a world where malaria still hasn’t been eradicated and a significant proportion of the population do not have clean drinking water, some of us have money to burn. No point in giving it away or investing it – just burn it. Looks pretty. Who cares about people who are too lazy to do well for themselves – and hey, they can watch it too. Lucky us.
