2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Sound bloody fabulous on this murky, cold night.
Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid

*cough* - one of mine too
Listening to the Grandmix of 1987. Brings back a lot of memories from my childhood.
It's a mix of al the hits (in the Netherlands) of 1987 and lasts about 55 minutes. Mixed by Ben Liebrand.
Although you see a CD cover is actually not available on CD (unfortunately).
I recorded this on tape from the Radio.
Electric Light Orchestra
A New World Record - 24bit 96kHz Wave
Edward
Quite different from his other albums, almost poppy...
Teardrop Explodes: Kilimanjaro. Dated in some ways, but Reward is still a whirlwind of energy. Also, best ever concert I attended was Julian Cope at the Town & Country Club. Looking every inch the rock star, resplendent in a leather all in one jump suit he intermittently donned oversized pape & mache masks, pausing the music for surreal poetry recitles and rants about his former record company (Island)! Wonderful!
Rammstein - Sehnsucht
So, once again another pathetic performance from Aston Villa requiring me, once again, to see how hard to 500 can push my PMCs. The answer? Very.
Followed by...
Yuri Gagarin - Yuri Gagarin
Swedish space rock. Suitable for earsplitting listening too.
Grrrr.
Some nice 'modern style' jazz.
Electric Light Orchestra
Time - 24bit 96kHz Wave
Edward
Andras Schiff - Encores After Beethoven. (Still can't upload pictures).
A classic album from a classic time.
Japan - Gentlemen Take Polaroids

Thanks a lot Graham!
Thievery Corporation - The Temple of I & I.
Beginning to grow on me since yesterday.
