What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIII)

2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;

Here is your chance. You have no excuses now!
Swans, The Glowing Man (2016), on triple vinyl. Epic gloom for a grey Sunday morning.
2013 -Tidal...
Some cheerful jazz to scare the blues away.
Another from my bruvs collection
The Anchoress, Confessions Of A Romance Novelist.
Downloaded a while ago from the B&W SOS site, this is my first proper listen and it is not bad at all.
Mika Uchizato - Kaze No Shonkanee
Actually, there's just one track, but it took me a morning of detective work to find it!
Back in 2006 Stuart Maconie saw this singer at SXSW and played a track on Freak Zone that I loved. Couldn't get the album or even hear what it sounded like, and sort of forgot it. Until this morning when it popped into my head...except I couldn't remember the title, the singer, or the album. Hence a morning of frantic Googling based on the fact that I knew it was a famous Okinawan folk song and that it had the word "Hana" in it.
Anyway, the fruits of my labour: Kui Jin nu Hana (and no, I have no idea what she's singing about, but it's very simple, accompanied by just a shamisen, and completely captivating)
Really enjoying these two LPs today
1973 - Vinyl - U.K. First pressing...

The album "Human" is on my list to download this week - what are thoughts? Received a good review on Front Row the other night.
Owing to some discussion on another forum I've been busy on the Okki Nokki this morning. Cleaned a number of Ramsey Lewis albums. This one from 1980 is jazz-funk and gorgeous it is too.
And now this one, recorded by the original trio live at the Lighthouse, Hermosa Beach, Ca. in 1965, but not released until 1972. Jazz-blues, great live sound too.
Tidal Masters
(1961)
Why? Because its appeared on Tidal Masters as a Hi-Res file and I haven't listened to the album in decades.
Early Sunday solo:
Swans, White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity, on original 1991 vinyl. I'm diggin' doom rock today, for some reason.
Next up from Mr Lewis, another one cleaned this morning. This from 1977 is much more like Routes, great funk in the bass (Ron Harris) and good SQ from CBS.
I've had to edit this for a second time just to say that the SQ is absolutely spectacular. A great demo record to show what a top spec LP12 can do.
Tidal Masters
(1972)
Another one from way back when, a pleasant voice accompanying piano and band, intriguing lyrics make for interesting, easy listening.
Tidal Masters
(1972)
Another album released in '72 and another playing via Tidal Masters, their debut.
Another record cleaned this morning on the Okki Nokki. This one is from 1979 and again very funky. Another superbly recorded album on the CBS label.
Another great album by Gene Harris.
His version of Summertime is the most 'Funky' I have ever heard.
