What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIII)

2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Original Mono cut for ripping. As well as stereo on double reissue. Mono just tears it up.
Van Morrison. Moondance. Early pressing from 1970. Raining this evening, still it seems like a marvelous night for a moondance.
Blood, Sweat And Tears. Eponymous second album on vinyl from 1968. These Columbia 360 Sound pressings from the late-60s typically sound superb and this one is no exception.
Steve Miller Band. Fly Like An Eagle. An original pressing from 1976. A Capitol Records label that fits somewhere between their orange label and purple large-dome label sequence. I have lots of Capitol LPs from the era, this the only one with this particular label style. Like many of the orange labels, this one is marvelously mastered by Wally Traugott.
Mudcrutch 2. On vinyl from 2016. Great album with great SQ. Nice to hear some modern vinyl done right (BG mastered).
I now understand when listening with full attention why EJ mentions David Fray as comparison, and it's not a bad one at all. I like this interpretation...
On CD:-
Shearwater - Jet Plane And Oxbow
Neil Young. Living With War. On CD from 2006. I played a lot of vinyl tonight and got a sense my CDP was jealously glaring at me. I'll finish the night with this politically driven album from Good Ol' Neil.
Having watched the excellent documentary "Jaco" about the sad life of the great Jaco Pastorius on Amazon Prime, I'm playing, on original vinyl -
A super album from Pat Metheny, especially the two folk song number is great...
Swirling, swoonsome Scandi-psych on vinyl:
Only just getting to know this guy. But get the feeling I've known him for years.
Bowie's The Gouster, an early version of Young Americans, on vinyl and from the Who Can I Be Now? box set. I think I may prefer it to the eventually-released album...

Two fine albums there, Tony. But Joni's Hejira is a masterclass of fine song craft.

Agreed, Bert. A particularly fine recording too on ECM.
CD rips:-
Pink Floyd - Division Bell
The Who - Who's Next
Not a blues album
Big blue boom
A + | WAV
(1970)
A + | Tidal
(2003)
The live version of Thirteenth Step which I can't get on physical media, this is where Tidal is very much a friend.
Wowza.
