What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIII)

2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Kandace Springs - Soul Eyes. Discovered on here (Tony recommended this if memory serves)
Why? A talented young lady singing some beautifully crafted choons. What's not to like.
Continuing with the live album based off their best studio album in my opinion..
(1978)
It's good to unleash this loud every now and again when the house is empty. I've jumped ahead to Don't Believe a Word but now starting the album from the beginning.

"Emerald" is the best track on this album.

Haven't listened to this in yonks. Great album!
1981 - U.K. First pressing...
One of their best sounding recorded albums even if some of the songs are leftovers from Some Girls.
Slave is the perfect track to energise anyone's system and, of course, there's also the classic Waiting On A Friend.
1969 - Vinyl - U.K. First pressing...
This folk album was recommended on another forum and as it was only £4.75 for the vinyl together with a free download code I thought it would be rude not to give it a shot. Rather pleasant.
Bent - Programmed To Love
Was meandering through my ripped "B"s and spotted this, which I shamefully hadn't played for yonks. It hasn't dated a bit (2000), a mixture of sampledelica and chill with a cluster of great tunes, of which these are two:
Cylons In Love
Always (I now discover that it's a Norrie Paramour sample - for us really old folk)
Released 20 years ago:
RHCPs. The Getaway. On vinyl from 2016. I bought this on it's release last July. Forgotten on my shelf since then so it's a first listen for me tonight. Good album. The vinyl has good dynamic range, especially for the Peppers. Still pretty bass-laden though.
On vinyl.
