(1972)
This will do nicely to start the weekend.
Clare Martin - Too Much in Love to Care (sings with Kenny Barron). SACD. Nice.

This isn't bad either!

I really ought to listen to the records in my collection more often - there are some gems lurking there.

Cracking album, mind you I thinks it is very difficult, almost impossible to find a bad RUSH album.

OK, so I then discovered the 42 track deluxe version. Not heard these before for some reason - extremely impressed with the playing (only guitar and occasional piano accompaniment) and SQ of a good variety of songs from his vast back catalogue.
Tidal (good old Tidal).

1969 - Vinyl - U.K. First pressing...
A little British blues with guest appearance by John Mayall.
Miller Anderson doing the duties on guitar- just listening to Born to Die Now.
No better way to start the weekend...

Scientist - Dub from the Ghetto.
Some early evening old skool dub ............. from the absolute master of cool. ![]()

Listening the first time to this. Came out today and sounds good. So will land on the buying list...

Mmm... I do have 'A Show of Hands' in my collection. I recall that being very dull, but maybe I ought to try that again too. I seem to be a little more receptive to the Rush style currently.
Pat Metheny on vinyl.

And now Robin Trower Live. This album transports me back to my days in Bristol when I saw this band in the Anson Room at UoB students union. I was deaf for most of the next day, but it was a superb gig.

EDIT: This is just glorious! ![]()

Here's a good place to start.
Willie Dixon - Poet of the Blues.
Hi Dave, this one was already in my vast list but I have just bumped it up.
Problem is I am liking most of what I am hearing and end up listening to complete albums. It is going to take me a month of Sundays to get through it. But an enjoyable way to spend some quality time listening to some great, great music.
Cheers

Ewemon, please please stop. I have to stop listening to the blues and do some work! ![]()
