Like returning to a favourite old pair of jeans and boots...

A different Genesis with the departure of Peter Gabriel but its always been one of my favourites.
I'm a great fan of all the Wainwrights but love this album by Rufus

The music is good. They played some of their (at that time) new stuff from the ' On every street' album. Some classics are missing like telegraphy road. The sound quality could be better.
Regards,
Jeroen.
Nice with a glass whilst doing the chateaubriand...shocking sound quality though!

None better. An all-time classic. I still enjoy it today as much as I did when it was released. Can't really pay the album as higher compliment than that can I?

A change of pace with the wonderful Peter Green and a few guests that aren't too bad either!...
I was initially impressed with this mainly for the quality of the musicianship and reproduction but the more I've listened the more I just like the music.
The first CD of a four disc set. Wonderful music sic.

Goldfrapp: Black Cherry. CD Rip.
Inspired by Kevin-w's choice earlier in the thread
Finally up and running after my Ethernet switch self terminated, CD rip being streamed via Wi-Fi and so far so good, the connection is holding.

A really excellent album from SV. Edgy and ambitious - very satisfying.

John Hicks Trio: Something to live for
Playing Billy Strayhorn tunes.
After a long walk on a balmy 65F degrees day, a rare February weather unseen around here for the last 50 years. Country roads are full of shiny Corvettes cruising in the breeze.
To celebrate the fact that Aston Villa didn't lose today (they lay Monday) I declared this to be Tunbridge Wells Space Night. Kicking off with...
The Spacelords - Synapse
German space rock. A couple of their albums are on Bandcamp. To be played loud.
Followed that with
The Moody Blues - To Our Children's Children's Children
Part four of the classic seven and their concept album about generation star travel. Quite amazing how they kept up such a strong series of albums...

Good stuff! Coincidentally I was looking at playing something from the Spacelords this morning. That's tomorrow morning sorted out.
