(1968)
One of the classic late 60s albums, rock, psychedelic, R&B all underpinned by Chapmans very different voice.
Dire Straits
Making Movies - 16bit 44.1kHz Wave
After hearing "Romeo and Juliet" on the "planetrock years" this morning i realized that i have not played any of my Dire Straits albums for a long time.

Big Audio Dynamite: This is Big Audio Dynamite. CD rip. A real blast from the formative years. Not the greatest album, but it has its moments and the cross over musical elements, coupled with Mick Jones vocals are still interesting.

Kandace Springs - Soul Eyes.
Shamelessly borrowing Bert's picture.
Having a listen to this over my lunch break on my portable setup. Such a beautiful voice and 'Talk to me' is a great start to the album. Cracking recording too. This is rapidly becoming one of my favourite albums and was another great forum recommendation
Hewitt delivers a colorful playing of late nineteenth century miniatures by Emmanuel Chabrier.
Chic- Up All Night.
All the hits, and there were many of them ......... some uplifting sounds for a grey North Yorks. Afternoon.
When a song comes into your head (Alive) and you find the album's already loaded on the Walkman
Pearl Jam - Ten
Nirvana: Nevermind. CD rip. Still an astonishing album. For Mr Cobain who would have been fifty today. Because ... he influenced a generation and shook things up a little.
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories.
Following the Chic fest, how could it be anything else?
Nile Rogers contribution very much a major part of this great album.
It was sunny earlier, now it's gone grey and cold. Time to chill, then.
Music doesn't come chillier than Thomas Köner. Here's one of his first albums, Nunatak Gongamur, on original 1991 CD:
Otis Taylor - Pentatonic Wars and Love Songs.
This one dropped through the letterbox this morning, and first listen suggests yet another great album from Otis.
