Last year's thread can be found here;
Kevin-W posted:More chilly stuff. Rautavaara on a Naxos CD:
Rautavaara is skill. Cantus Arcticus was a route into his world for me...not all of it as easy but worth the effort.
I've given this a few runs after picking it up from one of Richieroo's posts on another thread yesterday . Very classy blend of electronica/ambient/jazz , great SQ also.
Tidal.
Well worth a listen. Thanks Richieroo !
Roger Waters - The Wall QOBUZ 24/48 First listen. I am enjoying this as much as the PF version.

I heard an excerpt from these yesterday, when the writer/historian Sir Anthony Beevor chose one of Vivaldi's Mandolin Concerti on Desert Island Discs. Loved it on first hearing, so I bought this in HMV today. Well-recorded and well-performed music from one of the great composers.

Was listening no to this in the car. Wanted to call this out for the lovers of the genre. Intelligent progressive rock / metal. It's quite varied, with a brilliant ballad...two is one, a fast piece like liquid Tension Experiment...
Now at home something laid back...
Some trax from his up and coming Live album due March
Wonderfrul François Couperin and master interpreter Jordi Savall, together on one beautifully-recorded Alia Vox CD/SACD. What could be better?
Fresh trio jazz, from Bandcamp .....

Let's hope it is as good as the 2014 live album. I've just pre-ordered the double vinyl on the river, £16.44 (freeP&P) out on the 17/03/17.
Got to be done. Sounding rather fantastic tonight -
