Nirvana. Nevermind (1991). On BG remastered vinyl from 2009. Blockbuster album. Kurt Kobain would have been 50 years old today.

Good idea - i'll join you.

This is one of the albums on my list to get rid of. I haven't played it in years and doubt I ever will gain. Nirvana do not float my boat (this was the only album of theirs I ever bought) and someone will appreciate it much more.

Listened to this sometimes a bit too artistic, but it was also my first exposure..., so has to grow on me...

The 'live' tracks on this are excellent, especially Hotel C

Steven Wilson, Transience, WAV CD Rip.

A wonderful compilation of His more accessible work from 2002-2015.

First listen, even though it's been in my collection quite some years now.

Red Rider. As Far As Siam. On original vinyl from 1981. A forgotten album well worth revisiting. Features the classic single "Lunatic Fringe".

Golden Earring. Moontan. Early reissued vinyl from 1973 (with the less risqué album cover ). Side 1 among my all-time favorite album sides.

Suzanne Vega. Beauty & Crime. On CD from 2007. I can't seem to get enough of Suzanne lately. Need to get out and get some more of her albums.

In that case, if you haven't already got it, I'd strongly recommend this box set, joerand:

Good shout Mike, I would second that recommendation.

Thanks for the recommendation guys. Yeah, on my radar when looking in local shops. New box sets now going for 300 dollars or pounds. Originally sold for more like 50. Might have an easier time piecing together the separate discs.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Eponymous debut on original vinyl from 1973. Nice album with a great bluesy rock groove.

Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble. In Step. Original 10-track CD from 1989. Nasty Texas blues, you can't sit still.
