Ego, Georgius by Jerzy Antczak
Great find Slim68. Thanks Simon, I've just finished listening to this and I'm sorry its ended! What a fantastic prog rock / art rock album. Really liked the guitar work which was Gilmouresque at times, super vocalist, I enjoyed everything about it definitely modern prog rock as I like it. The only down side is that getting a physical copy is either £57+ postage here or $40 US inc postage from the States, I may have to settle for an MP3 download.
Hi Steve, you can find the CD's on the Polish Lynx Music website, I paid 90 Zloty (about £19) for this and String Theory. They also have the Albion CD's so worth checking out. The postage was quick too.
Thanks again Simon, Polish Lynx is a really good find I shall be paying them a visit.

Excellent metal tinged heavy prog rock, another good find championed here by Slim68.
Is the 2nd run, good album. 1st part is kind of reflective, 2nd part is more rhythmic ....
The more I play this the more I like it.
Enjoying this with my daughter who has good taste! Reminiscing how my best mate and I had Robert & Jimmy come in to the French House in Soho and stand right beside us enjoying a chat & a pint. A polite nod in acknowledgement is all we did...until we got outside and shared a massive OMFG over several more pints!

A bit of Vivaldi on CD - a fine way to start the weekend:

double encounter with Jimmy Page last week: first, Wagamamas in South Ken - one of those is it, isn't moments followed by another spotting heading down the stairs out of the same Cirque de Soleil show!
Ragna Schirmer: Joseph Haydn keyboard sonatas.
Varied music...
2011 remaster sounding lush..
The second volume from the Early Years mega-box, this one's Germin/ation, covering 1968. Some great stuff on here, inclding "Roger's Boogie", which is probably the most peculiar thing the Floyd ever recorded.
Tinariwen - Elwan . This is a fabulous album from the masters of desert blues.
Tidal.
On vinyl from 1986:
One of my favourite African bands of the 80s - The Bhundu Boys - "Shabini".
Beautifully intricate sound, so relaxing to listen to and great sound quality to boot.
Tinariwen - Aman Iman (Water is Life).
Picking up on Nick's suggestion above, these guys ARE the masters of atmospheric desert blues.

George Mraz & Emil Viklicky - Together Again.
Lovely, rich, piano and bass sound. Tidal
Otis Taylor - Below The Fold.
Continuing the trance blues vibe with Otis.
Heard the opening track from this album in the Harbeth room at Bristol yesterday. Sounding just as good now at home.
