2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Sundays & Cybele - Chaos & Systems
Japanese psychedelia (though leavened with a bit of krautrock here and there that's almost Harmonia-like). Bandcamp!
I was listening to this album whilst driving along the M4 this morning. Apart from the crazy opener I find little here to retain my interest.
I started listening to this in the car this morning and so thought i'd carry on now - A great album and one that's just given more and more over the years as my system has got better
Talk Talk - The Colour Of Spring

(1994)
Been a while since I've listened to this lady, a friend of mine was singing with her a couple of months ago which has reminded me to get one of MCC's album's out.
Jasmine Thompson - Another Bundle of Tantrum
Rather lovely.
James McMurtry - Too Long in the Wasteland. Today's arrival (£2.38 preloved at the usual place ). CD rip.
Peter Gabriel - 3 (Melt).
High drama from this "almost spooky" album.

Total agree Clive, only bought my copy because it was on the Blue Horizon which I collect. It rarely gets played.
ATB Graham.
First play of this after it was recommended by Coyote Jim on another forum and, since it includes Emily a Remler on one track, there was no excuse. It's most enjoyable. Great recording quality too (SQ).
Blues Company - Hot and Ready to Serve
OK there are one or two average tracks on here but there a some absolute belters as well.
Robert Lucas - Luke and the Locomotives
If you fancy some blues, you might want to give this a whirl. It is on Tidal as is the one above.
I'm loving it.

Thanks James. Will definitely give it a listen.
Lou Reed - Transformer.
Playing a few of my "test" albums tonight, since I'm evaluating a horrendously expensive interconnect which my ever optimistic dealer decided to lend me ............... thanks for nothing, mate.

MMC accompanied me finishing off making and devouring a roast chicken dinner. Followed now for no particular reason other than Commune by Goat its a terrific modern psyche album and I fancied a loud listen

I think this is his best album

Possibly my favourite female vocalist. Boy she could sing!
such a shame she didn't get the chance to record many more albums

I have to agree...a great mixture of covers and a distinctive voice. Just catching up on Tidal.
Recorded in 1985 this album contains some of his best work .. IMO .. an excellent quality recording. Great percussion by Luis Jardim ..
One of the better Asia albums...
