Great to see 24 bit FEAR but sadly doesn't seem to be downloadable from the UK. Somewhat annoying as a huge fan and this album is superb. Why no UK download 24 bit - makes no sense, maybe I am missing something....

Unfortunately, Lorraine Hunt passed away in 2006 at a very young age of 52 . Her Handel album is just as good.
Todd Garfinkle, the owner of MA Recordings label, travels all around the world with his two specialized microphones and a digital recorder to capture musicians and their music on location in the countries in which they reside. One of the best recordings I know of in terms of performance as well as sound. In other words, pure magic and a must have!
SerĂ¡ Una Noche
Nobody really knows the etymological origin of the word "Tango". It is supposed to be an african word referring to a place for dancing.
Eric Clapton. Behind The Sun. On the original Duck Records vinyl from 1984. It's a good listen but have to say heavy on production especially where Phil Collins' contributions leave a wall-of-sound signature. Has the effect of percussion to the fore while making EC's leads a bit more distant, less immediate.
ZZ Top. Afterburner. On original vinyl from 1985. A heavy rocker well-mastered by Bob Ludwig.
Great album, works also very well to work out on...

A great recommendation from DenisA of this parish, ambient and haunting.
"Intervalo is the result of a collaboration between Seattle pianist Kelly Wyse and Vancouver's loscil. Culminating from two live performances in 2012, first at Seattle's Substrata Festival and later at Decibel Festival... This collection features reworked versions of familiar loscil compositions such as Endless Falls and Hastings Sunrise along side unique versions of rarer compositions such as Rye Fields and City Hospital."

Thanks Haim, I shall get the Handel, especially as I see that Stephen Stubbs plays on it. Lorraine was a wonderful singer, and a great loss.

Enjoyable and experimental, this is electronic based synth-pop mixed, with krautrock and more. Worth listening to if you haven't come across them before.
Because I'm in the mood for some Zep.........and loud!

Sticking with Appliance, this time with their fine slightly psychedelic, post rock debut album.
One dose of Led Zep wasn't enough....
