Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters - Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar.

Well, one thing inevitably leads to another, so, why not?

I can see a Zepfest coming on this evening ....................... anyone?

That's a yes from me, the other half is out for a couple of hours from 7 p.m. and the system could do with a workout

In that case, a pre 19.00 gentle start to proceedings then.

Jimmy Page and Robert Plant - No Quarter.

A great reworking of Zep classics ............. ensure you listen to the "red cover" remastered version ............... stunning.

Steven Wilson, Hand Cannot Erase on CD.

I watched him play this Live in the Cambridge Corn Exchange at the very start of the H C E tour and it was a fantastic show. Also got to see him play at the Royal Albert Hall it was just as good.

OK then, in 3 - 2 -1 ...........go!

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti - Japanese SHM CD.

If you've not heard these Japanese offerings, you owe it to yourself to have a listen .......... best SQ available, including the many remasterings ............. IMHO of course.

In mine too. These are the best remastered CDs of Led Zep I've heard.  Unfortunately for CD fans like me, the original plum-label early albums on vinyl are better still.

(1968)

Going to go for the HD remasters tonight rather than the Japanese SHM-CDs or their earlier CDs

Inspired by Tobyjug. This is a rip of the CD, which came in a little metal replica of the original album.

(1970)

Such exciting days (musically) in the late 60's/early 70's you wonder if the like will ever happen again...

The superb Melody Gardot - i like all of her albums but i think this just edges out in front (for me). When she starts to sing on 'Baby I'm A Fool' i'm somewhere else entirely

Melody Gardot - My One And Only Thrill
